Each Glasgow born podiatrist of Hampden Foot Clinic is a dedicated, caring and experienced podiatric physician and is trained in the latest techniques and procedures in podiatry. Heather Munro, Bsc (Hons), MChS, HCPC Registered

 

Lead Podiatrist, Director, Founder and Owner at Hampden Foot Clinic.

 

Education: Podiatric medicine and surgery Bsc (Hons) Degree from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2008. Private educator for final year students at Glasgow Caledonian University.

 

Registrations: HCPC (CH30955) & Member of Society of Chiropodist and Podiatrist (28322).

 

Experiences: Working in private practice since 2008: initially in Glasgow's prestigious West End as a private associate podiatrist. Heather Founded Hampden Foot Clinic in 2010 with the first clinic in Bolton Drive then expanded to a large modern 4 chair clinic in Cathcart Road.

 

Special interests: Heather enjoys the full range of general foot care with a special interest in Cosmetic Nail Surgery, Dry needling for verruca and podopaediatrics (children's specialist podiatry).

 

 

Michael Boyle, Bsc (Hons), MChS, HCPC Registered

 

Title: Senior Associate Podiatrist at Hampden Foot Clinic East.  

 

Education: Bsc (Hons) in Podiatry from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2014.

 

Registrations: HCPC (CH33352) & Member of Society of Chiropodist and Podiatrist (32750).

 

Experiences: Trained in the leading university institute of podiatry in Scotland. Michael has been working in private practice since graduating and completed an internship at Hampden Foot Clinic during which he embraced all opportunities to develop clinical expertise and knowledge.

 

Special interests:

Michael works full time and enjoys diagnosing and treating a wide range of foot related conditions, he is very personable and has a patient centred approach to all treatments.

Michael maintains a keen interest in helping sportsmen and women recover from injury and to return to their sports. He also has a special interest in minor surgery for treatment of ingrowing toenails, diabetic foot care and biomechanical assessment for muscular skeletal podiatry.

 

 

Martin Howley, Bsc (Hons), MChS, HCPC Registered

 

Title: Senior Associate Podiatrist at Hampden Foot Clinic South

 

Education: Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Bsc (Hons) ifrom Glasgow Caledonian University in 2008.

 

Registrations: HCPC (CH31295) & Member of Society of Chiropodist and Podiatrist (28312).

 

Experiences:

Martin works full time at our practice and very popular with our patients he specialises in general podiatry and is very competent in dealing with all aspects of advanced Podiatric care.  He has worked in the private sector since graduating, treating complex problems for a wide range of athletic disciplines.

 

Martin is also a fully trained first aid trainer for St. Andrews first aid with over 5 years of experience dealing with and training people in first aid medical emergencies, his presence within the clinic will ensure you feel safe and comfortable during every step of your treatment plan with us.

 

Special interests:

Martin has a keen interest in sports related foot problems and injuries. He is particularly interested in dry needling for verrucae, deep enuncleation of painful neuro vascular corns under anaesthesia and biomechanics.

 

 

Graham Bone Bsc (Hons), MChS, HCPC Registered

 

Title: Associate Podiatrist at Hampden Foot Clinic

 

Education: Bsc (Hons) in Podiatry from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2014.

 

Registrations: HCPC (CH33369) & Member of Society of Chiropodist and Podiatrist (32749).

 

Experiences: Trained in Podiatric Medicine and surgery with an honours degree from Glasgow Caledonian University. Graham has been working in the private sector since graduating providing home visits and gaining a wealth of experience in nail surgery and biomechanics. He has undergone an intense internship mentored by Heather Munro the Lead Specialist podiatrist within the practice.

Maureen Mulligan & Ann Mahon

 

Maureen and Ann are the Practice Administrators at our clinic, they are your first point of contact with us.  Maureen and Ann have a wealth of experience in administration and their orgaisation skills keep us all working to our fullest potential.  They are a fountain of knowledge on the treatments available within our practice and look after us all – holding the team together.  Their friendly smile and calming personality add to the relaxed and informal atmosphere of Hampden Foot Clinic.
